I had high expectations from the reviews and was left disappointed. Got glazed donuts and they were average, just nothing special. Nothing close to what is in Columbus Ohio. I love donuts and don't enjoy being critical but really disappointing.

This place is a must-stop spot. I live in another state and always get donuts to take home from Donald's. Their apple fritters are the best anywhere, and their other items are amazing as well. Go early for the best selection! 7 am is frequently too late to get my favorite maple twists!

Great home-y traditional style doughnuts! Loved the cinnamon bun where with just the right balance of perfectly fried and tender yeast dough, cinnamon and glaze. Cake doughnut very good too. Get them fresh!Update, also a great apple fritter! Picture of a fragment illustrates the great dough glaze crisp fried surface.

I've had Donuts from Boston to Orlando to New Orleans to Austin to Colorado to San Francisco to San Diego and the list keeps going. Believe it or not this little old hole-in-the-wall in Zanesville Ohio has been the best donut I have ever had.

Their donuts are great. My favorite is the honey bun. Exactly what you’d expect from a doughnut shop. It has a great atmosphere. Come in the morning and some regulars will be sitting at the bar reading the paper and talking and there is a great selection.

I've been in there at least 10 times, theyre always out of glazed and chocolate longjohns by 10am. Not sure why they're open til 2:00pm but most donuts are gone by 10am. Sucks to wait in line for 15 minutes to be told they're out when you finally get in.

Amazing! Made the mistake of bringing these into Cols to work 1 day after bragging about how great these donuts are. Now ever week Im inundated with orders from the guys to bring them in everyweek now! However it gives me an excuse to gorge myself on these delicious donuts!

Even though I got there at 11:49 am and they had a limited donut selection .. actually just 4 flavors left, it was worth it! The iced cake donuts had s lot of flavor as well as the stick...

The lady that helped us was nice, donuts had different prices and were not marked. Said they were about $12.00 a dozen, did not have any turnovers. Have a counter if you want to eat there.

Small, family owned and operated, still make the donuts dress every couple of hours. They don't last long ! Great place to stop for a quick coffee and snack. Friendly staff, keeps your cup full ! We visit every time in town.

My daughter and I read the reviews and took about a 30 minute drive just to see. Was worth the trip a she loved it! Specifically the pink frosted long John!

There is no better doughnuts! My kids love the pink cream filled. Sometimes it's difficult getting in and out of the parking area... But... Two days wait would be totally worth it!

Greatest donuts anywhere (close 2nd goes to Beiler's in Pennsylvania). Highlights: Apple Fritters, Long Johns, Jelly, Bavarian (similar Boston Cream but slightly different yellow filling)

My sister and I stopped here on our way to Virginia. Let me just say, the very best donuts i have had in forever. I highly recommend the black raspberry filled donut. Best Donuts I've ever had. They make them fresh every morning and when they run out they run out so get them while they last. This is a favorite place to get donuts for many close cities even. This is a rare treat and even though the original owner past away recently they have continued to carry on their high quality tradition of great donuts and a very fair price.
